FXR, pronounced fixer: one platform for all your music
royalty work
/fixer/noun.
1.
One platform for all your music royalty work.
From a song just released to a catalogue sale: payments checked, gaps found, and an AI agent on data you can trust.
Boils the complicated down to findings you can understand,
share and act on.
Together, they give you a clearer picture of your music
earnings.
Who it’s for
For artists, their teams and catalogue owners
FXR gives the people responsible for a music catalogue a
shared view of its royalty income.
We work with artists, songwriters and producers, as well as their
managers, business managers, lawyers, royalty specialists,
accountants and brokers.
We also work with record labels, music publishers, catalogue
funds and collecting societies.
Some of the teams we work with
Team Froukje.Singer-songwriter and label owner.Team Martin Garrix.DJ, producer and label owner.Team One World Artists.Tomorrowland’s management agency. Working with Lost
Frequencies and his label, Agents of Time, and
others.Team Joep Beving.Composer and pianist.Evergreen IP.Independent music rights advisory. Guides rights holders
through every step of a catalogue transaction.
What you get
Answers about your music catalogue, to act on and to hand over.
No two catalogues earn the same way. Radio and TV, streams,
syncs, live shows, vinyl, the music playing in shops and bars, or
any mix of them, each with its own intricacies. Whatever yours
lives on, we know where to look.
From a quick check of your radio income to a desktop audit of
your publishing deal, a joint venture settled down to the last
cost line, or the full picture of a catalogue before a sale.
We are not royalty accounting software: we do not run your
royalty statements. The exception is the calculation that is too
tangled for any standard tool. Those we take on as custom
projects.
How it works
From royalty data to a clear next step.
We bring your royalty data together, flag underpayments and
show what your catalogue earns and is worth.
1. We collect your data.
Your royalty statements and contracts, collected and
reconciled, and kept up to date.
2. You get the app, and our reports.
Your own login, an agent you can ask anything, and the reports
our team prepared for the questions we agreed on.
3. Ongoing, or one-off.
A subscription with a fixed rhythm, or one question answered
end to end; a specialist from our network when a finding needs
chasing.
Why we do this
We want creators and rights holders to understand what they earn
and receive what they are owed.
I started out writing and producing. Somewhere along the way I
became the person who read the statements and the contracts,
because nobody else wanted to, and to my own surprise I
enjoyed it. In 2015 I co-founded BAM!, now BAM! Popauteurs,
the Dutch professional association for songwriting musicians,
to strengthen the position of creators in an industry that was
changing fast. FXR is the next step of the same idea: a
platform and a team that demystifies music royalty income and
ownership.
Tjeerd BomhofFounder
The team
A small team, across borders.
We work on data, product, royalty analysis and client work, in
several languages and time zones. Specialists from our network
step in when a finding needs chasing, registering or negotiating.
Structured, checkable data processes, AI where it helps, and
our team when a number needs a closer look. We show how we
got there, so you and your advisers can check it.
Independent of the organisations that pay you.
We work for you and report to you.
Support beyond the analysis.
Finding a discrepancy is where the work starts. Our network
of specialists helps with the administration and follow-up
to address it.

What we do with your data.
Who we are

this page: hello@askfxr.com.
What we collect
When you send the contact form we receive your name, email
address, phone number if you gave one, the name of your
catalogue or artist, the number of songs, and what you wrote
about the help you need. While you only read the site we only
count your visit, without cookies, as described under Cookies
below, unless you accept session replay.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, records basic connection data
such as your IP address in its server logs for a short time
to keep the site running and secure. We do not use that data.
Why we use it
To answer your question and, if you want, to discuss working
together. We rely on the fact that you asked us to get in
touch (steps before a contract, and our legitimate interest
in replying). We do not use your data for advertising and we
do not sell it.
Who else sees it
Only our team. Your submission is kept in our own systems. The
providers that host our site and our internal tools process it
on our behalf under their standard data-processing terms.
Nobody else receives it.
How long we keep it
As long as needed to handle your request and any conversation
that follows, and at most two years after our last contact.
If you ask us to delete it, we do so earlier.
Cookies, visit counts and session replay
The site sets no cookies and loads no third-party embeds; the
typeface is served from our own site. The only thing stored in
your browser is your cookie choice.
We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, a service of our
hosting provider. It uses no cookies or lasting identifier and
records only the page viewed, the site you came from, your
country, browser and device type, and whether you started,
sent or abandoned the contact form. It never records what you
type.
If you accept, LogRocket (LogRocket, Inc., United States)
records a session replay. Typed input is masked. We use the recordings only to
see where the site is unclear. LogRocket stores identifiers in
your browser to recognise a returning visit and processes the data on our behalf
under its data-processing terms and EU standard contractual
clauses.
You can change your choice at any time. Declining after you
accepted stops the recording from the next page load.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, have it corrected or
deleted, or object to our use of it. Email
hello@askfxr.com and we reply within a month. You can
also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the
Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
